Chennai, December 11, 2008: Hello FM, Tamilnadu’s largest and leading radio network won silver at the recently held Indian Radio Documentary Association Awards at Goa.The documentary was an official Hello FM entry in a competitive festival organised by the ‘Indian Radio Documentary Association’, coinciding with the internationally acclaimed IFFI – Film Bazaar, in Goa.
The documentary was a telling, emotionally sensitive showcase of ‘Hitendran’s Story’, titled ‘Life after Life’, where the parents of a young brain-dead boy, decide to donate their son’s body organs, including the heart, to give a fresh lease of life to eight people.
In a highly competitive field featuring 19 entries, Hello FM’s entry earned respect, recognition, and the coveted Silver Award, bring pride to Syed Ali, Producer of the show and to Hello 106.4 FM.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajeev Nambiar, CEO, Hello 106.4 FM said, “It is a moment of great pride for Hello FM to have been present in this prestigious awards function and won a silver.
